The GMU85 is a high-rigidity, five-axis machining center featuring a fixed-beam gantry structure, designed for the precise machining of complex parts such as high-precision molds, aerospace structural components, and automotive parts. Equipped with GTRT gear-driven rotary table technology, it delivers robust torque output and exceptional rotational accuracy. Paired with a 18,000 rpm, high-rigidity electric spindle, the GMU85 enables efficient, high-accuracy five-axis simultaneous machining.
Highlights
1. Featuring an integrated crossbeam and a thermally symmetrical design, the machine achieves a 30% increase in overall rigidity and significantly enhanced seismic performance.
2. The A/C axes feature a dual-gear backlash elimination and torsional damping structure, delivering a rated torque of up to 2300/980 N·m and achieving positioning accuracy as fine as 6"/4". This performance surpasses that of conventional drive systems.
3. Equipped with a high-rigidity electric spindle capable of 18,000 rpm and delivering a maximum output power of 38 kW, this system effectively controls thermal expansion—and enhances spindle life and machining stability—through optimized bearing span and an advanced cooling system.
4. Equipped as standard with a Heidenhain or Siemens 5-axis system, supporting high-precision interpolation and error compensation to ensure reliable and efficient machining.
