GMU-65

The AFMING GMU-65 five-axis machining center features a gantry structure with symmetrical overhead cranes. It employs FEA-based dynamic optimization technology and is equipped with a high-performance electric spindle and gear backlash-compensated transmission, ensuring an optimal balance of rigidity, damping, and mass throughout the machine. The X/Y/Z axes have travel ranges of 650/950/500 mm, while the A/C axes offer ±120°/360° rotation. The machine’s spindle speed reaches 18,000 rpm, and it is paired with a 48-tool changer system that achieves a tool-change time of just 5 seconds. This equipment perfectly meets the core requirements of mold manufacturing—high surface finish, complex contours, and highly responsive dynamics.
