On the first day of the event, the exhibition hall was bustling with crowds, and the AFMING booth drew numerous professional visitors to stop and take a look.
1. Real-time Processing Demonstration
The on-site technical team delivered a deep dive into the advantages of 5-axis simultaneous machining for complex surface processing, using dynamic demonstrations and real-world case studies—while attendees occasionally pulled out their phones to capture the equipment in action.

II. Physical Sample Display
The exhibit booth neatly displayed finished products machined by the GMU400 and 600 five-axis machining centers—such as robotic leg components, automotive transmission housings, and open-type impellers. Many visitors leaned in closely to examine the exceptional surface finish, while occasionally asking the staff about the specific machining parameters.

1. GMU400
High-Precision Benchmark Equipment
High-rigidity gantry with fixed beam and GTRT gear cradle rotary table—featuring an A-axis torque of up to 1056 N·m, ensuring stable precision even during high-dynamic cutting. The spindle can reach speeds of up to 20,000 rpm, making it suitable for machining a wide range of materials, including aluminum alloys, mold steels, and titanium alloys.
II. GMU600
Versatile Machining for Medium- to Large-Sized Components
Featuring a high-rigidity bed, a high-speed precision electric spindle, and specialized cutting tools, this machine ensures stable machining of TC4 titanium alloy (with a material removal rate of 26.7 cm³/min). Additionally, its "roughing and finishing in one step" process achieves blade profile accuracy of ≤0.05 mm, delivering both exceptional precision and efficiency—making it ideal for applications in aerospace, next-generation automotive, and the emerging low-altitude economy sectors.
This time, AFMING is showcasing the GMU400/600 at the exhibition—not only as a demonstration of its advanced five-axis machining technology, but also to deliver precision solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of multiple industries, helping manufacturing enterprises in Ningbo and the East China region overcome processing challenges and boost production efficiency.
