The DMU400 features a reinforced overhanging-arm structure and is equipped with an AFMING-developed, DD-driven cradle-type rotary table. The machine boasts excellent overall rigidity and exceptional responsiveness, making it perfectly suited for efficiently and precisely machining parts and molds made from a wide range of materials.

Highlights

(1) The X/Y/Z axes all utilize high-response ball screw drives with recirculating balls, effectively minimizing thermal expansion of the screws and ensuring consistent precision.
(2) The cradle-type rotary table is designed and manufactured by our company. Both the B and C axes feature direct-drive transmission via DD motors, and come standard with an oil-cooling circulation system. The braking system utilizes high-pressure oil to actuate a large-diameter disc brake, ensuring high precision and extended service life.
(3) The X/Y/Z axes all feature high-rigidity Class P roller guides of Type 35, reducing friction and enhancing precision.
(4) The X/Y/Z axes all feature 40mm-diameter ball screws with a 20mm lead, offering a rapid traverse speed of 40 m/min and an acceleration of 1G.
(5) The Z-axis features high-precision, high-speed pneumatic counterbalance for efficient response, effectively neutralizing gravitational effects, minimizing thermal expansion of the lead screw, and significantly enhancing both the service life and precision of rolling components.
(6) The B/C axes are equipped as standard with 0.01 μm resolution gratings.
